When They Say Peace & Security

Devotional by Cheryl Hall-Laos

Yesterday, the leaders of the world gathered at the U-N headquarters in New York to implement global standards for equity (global shared wealth), as well as a global standard of justice. Each signature representing each country ensures complete compliance to agenda 20-30. But probably greatest of all, was the unified allegiance to a global center of power, the UN, in order that “all” may live in peace and security. It was all signed into agreement with a vote of 143 to 7 opposing.

Russia, refused to sign it, supported by Belarus, Venezuela, Syria and Iran. Interestingly, China is a permanent UN member and is in support of this pact, as well as Israel. It’s hard to imagine a world where our tax dollars go to people overseas rather than our own children and our own veterans; and judges at the UN can decide who is guilty of crimes (also decided by the UN), and what that punishment should be. How is it that our countries’ constitutional rights were signed away without a single voter voting on it?

This is prophecy being fulfilled. “While people are saying “peace and safety (security)” destruction (disaster) will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman. And there will be no escape. But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness, so that this day (the Lord’s return) should surprise you like a thief. You are all children of the light and children of the day… let us be awake and sober…” (1 Thessalonians 5:3-6).

Things will accelerate fast from here on out. Stay close to the Lord and your family of believers; a storm is coming. But, “the rain can descend, and the floods can come, and the wind can blow and beat upon the house (of God) BUT it will not fall down because it is founded upon The Rock.”

(Matthew 7:25)
