“I will put enmity between you (Satan) and the woman (Eve), and between your seed (Antichrist) and her Seed (Jesus Christ). He (Jesus) shall bruise your head, and you (Satan) shall bruise His heel.” – Genesis 3:15
God spoke those words to Satan after he had deceived Eve in the Garden of Eden. The “Serpent” had just attempted to murder the first two people God had created, by luring them to sin against God. But Satan hadn’t counted on God’s mercy for sinners. Nor had he counted on God’s perfect justice in receiving back on his head what he had just brought on Adam and Eve - death. Seems he didn’t know his Creator very well. Suddenly Satan learned that through the woman (who has reproductive eggs, not seeds) will come the promised “Seed” - the Son of God from Heaven, through the Virgin Birth - who will avenge the helpless and provide a cure for the sting of death. No wonder Satan hated Eve.
So if you’re wondering why we’re seeing a movement today that can’t define a woman, that smugly promotes a man in drag as a woman, then spitefully celebrates them as “women of the year”, and stays maliciously silent as real women are assaulted in locker rooms, bashed into concussions in sports, and cheated out of rightful trophies – it’s because the Serpent has enmity against all women, not just Eve, and it proves “his seed,” Antichrist, is on the scene.
Israel is also called a Woman in Revelation 12, as is the Church, the Bride of Christ. These two entities are also special object of Satan’s hatred for God has promised to “bruise Satan under their feet.” At this moment, there are 250,000 rockets aimed at Israel from their surrounding neighbors. And the Church is being targeted and infiltrated as a “terror” threat. What venomous hatred from the Father of Lies. It proves again that Antichrist is on the scene.
The return of Christ is near, and the Serpent has a fatal head-wound appointment, and he knows it. As Jesus went to the Cross, He said, “Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out” (John 12:31). There on the Cross, the Serpent bruised our Savior’s heel – a temporary wound. But the Cross forgives sinners and nullifies the claim of “him who had the power of death” over our lives as sinners. Through faith in Christ, God has... "rescued us from the authority of darkness and translated us into the Kingdom of His dear Son" (Colossians 1:13).
At Christ’s return, Satan and his angels will be cast out of the heavenly realm for good (Rev. 12:9), to be eventually cast into the Lake of Fire… “prepared for the Devil and his angels.”
Only in Christ and under His laws are women exalted to a place of equal love, dignity, and protection. A great showdown is about to take place and every Believer gets to share in Christ’s victory. Hallelujah!
Stand strong in His truth.
