Never before in history have we seen all the prophecies of the end times align like they are today. And it’s not just happening in our own country, but throughout the world.
The Scripture speaks of a time at the end where people, “Will have a form of godliness but denying the power thereof. Have nothing to do with such people” (2Timothy 3:5). They will say they are Christ followers, but they fully support the sin that nailed Jesus to the cross. The Holy Spirit is not resident in their souls, instead they have their self-virtue, their pride, to guide them. It is a day and age, where in the name of Christ, they further evil.
God speaks very directly to these people. “The horror you inspire has deceived you, and the pride of your heart, you who live in the cleft of the rocks (among the protected, wealthy class), who hold the height of the hill (have power over people). Though you make your nest as high as the eagle’s nest (superior to others), I will bring you crashing down, says the Lord” (Jeremiah 49:16).
“But evil men and imposters will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived” (2 Timothy 3:13). We are watching this great wickedness devouring the earth; the children, the nuclear family, and the churches, are in their crosshairs. “The wicked wait in ambush for the godly, looking for an excuse to kill them. But the Lord will not let the wicked succeed or let the godly be condemned when they are put on trial. Put your hope in the Lord… you will see the wicked utterly destroyed” (Psalm 37:32-34).
Friends, the evil we are watching build and build, has an end! God promises that evil will be utterly cast down in ruins, and we will watch it happen. Don’t lose heart, all that is of God and righteous will endure and triumph. For the Believer, this story has a beautiful ending…
