“He has looked down from the height of His sanctuary; from Heaven did the Lord behold the earth; to hear the groaning of the prisoner; to release those that are appointed to death…” – (Psalm 102:20).
Think of all those who have been “appointed to death” that the world is trying to ignore, downplay, and forget. One-third of Israel was executed during the Holocaust and their enemies still have the goal of “driving them into the sea.” Fifty-six million babies have been aborted every year for the past 50 years, making one-third of the world’s population to date. Another one-third of the people of earth are Christians, who are being martyred, imprisoned, and mistreated all over the globe, while media and politicians pretend they know nothing of it. But God is watching.
God has a Royal Law which commands mankind to, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Jesus warned that when this Law is ignored, it becomes the Law of Retribution, “As you have done, so shall it be done to you.” Have you wondered why all the “one-third” judgments in Revelation?
Jesus came to earth as the Life-Giver… “In Him was life, and the life was the light of mankind” (John 1:4). Yet, He entered our world to “taste death for every person” that through forgiveness of sins, we might receive the gift of everlasting life. How high above us He is! What sacrificial love! And this is why after receiving Christ into our lives… “we know we have passed from death into life, because we love our fellow-man” (1 John 3:14).
The Bible assures us that Justice is coming… “The Lord is coming out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their guilt: the earth shall uncover her blood and shall no longer conceal her slain” (Isaiah 26:21).
Things are going to change very soon.
