The heavens declare the glory of God,
Galaxies pulse with His might,
Seasons and life-forms and wonders of earth,
Announce “He is wise!” day and night;
But only a manger, one night long ago,
Which cradled this King from Above,
And only a cross and a now-empty tomb,
Reveal the great power of His love.
This Gift of Himself we still celebrate,
Rejoicing that nothing can sever,
Those who receive Christ Jesus as Lord,
From His love - both now and forever.
Merry Christmas!
