The Crescendo Of Heaven

Devotional by Chery Hall-Laos

“Another angel who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people, on the golden altar in front of the throne. The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the angel’s hand.” (Revelation 8:3, 4) Our prayers are filling the court room of Heaven with an increasing crescendo. Hearts are breaking for the Israeli people as we watch them be terrorized in their own homes and towns, some being abducted, beaten and killed. This great evil has been in the planning for some time, and is supported by the international community and the United Nations, as they declare in their SDG (goals to be met by 2030), that Israel is in “occupied Palestinian land.” This lie is funding this hate and war against God’s people that were given this land by God. Why is God allowing this, people are asking? God is not the author of evil, Satan is, and his minions. “The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy” and he is now doing it with international help and funding, BUT, God sees all this wretchedness and promises, “In as much as you have done (this evil) to one of the least of these (the Jewish people), you have done it unto Me” (Matthew 25:40). These atrocities are as if they are being done to Christ, Himself. Saudi Arabia this last week has brokered a peace deal between Israel and the Palestinians that is based on developing a two-state solution. Yet, God’s promises to those that vow to divide His land are sobering… “If you divide up My land I will cut you into pieces!” This is prophecy being fulfilled (that Saudi Arabia would be an ally of Israel), but it is not for Israel’s good, but for her planned destruction. Friends, we are watching in real time the chess pieces getting into position for the Ezekiel 38 war. The international community (and all their military might and money) is joining forces towards the fulfillment of this prophetical confrontation. “When people (the Jews) are saying peace and security, then sudden destruction will come upon them like labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you brothers and sisters are NOT in darkness, so that this day should surprise you like a thief.” (1 Thessalonians 5:3, 4) May we join in a crescendo of prayer that fills the heavenly air with cries for Israel to be saved. The Lord is coming soon and we are entering the “time of Jacob’s (Israel’s) trouble.” May hearts cry out to God for deliverance, for He is still the one and only Great Deliverer. Come Lord Jesus!
