THE BRIDE: “The marriage (supper) of the Lamb is come and His wife has made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white (Greek: ‘lamp,’ radiant light): for the fine linen is the righteousness-es (plural) of saints.”
THE GROOM: “And I saw Heaven opened, and behold a white (brilliant light, shining) horse; and He that sat upon it was Faithful and True… and He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God.
THE PARADE: "And the armies which were in Heaven followed Him upon white (bright; shining) horses, clothed in fine linen, white (bright, shining) and clean.” (Revelation 19)
At the end of Revelation, the Bride and Groom appear together for the great wedding parade, and she is sharing the full glory of the One she loved, and lived for, on earth, just as the Bible promised… “When Christ, who is our Life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with Him in glory” (Colossians 3:4).
Although the world is heading into the Great Tribulation of God’s wrath, all who trust Christ as Savior from sins, are “saved from the wrath to come.” Then we are given a glimpse of our return to earth, when Christ sets up His Kingdom, returning as Jesus foretold, “in power and great glory,” after the 7-year Tribulation.
For the Bride of Christ, today is our time to “make ourselves ready,” by letting our “light so shine before men” that our love Christ, and His love for them, is clearly known. This is our time to “shine forth His praises,” to serve Him, and to love Him with a radiance worthy of a Bride who will bear His name, “Faithful and True.”
