When there is a war between good and evil, God expects us to take His side. There is no middle ground for the false front of moral relativism in the atrocities before our eyes… “He who justifies the wicked, and he that condemns the righteous, even they both are an abomination to the Lord” (Proverbs 17:15). This was the basis for the world’s hatred against Jesus… “The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me, because I testify of it, that its works are evil” (John 7:7).
God spoke these words to Jeremiah (a prophet to the nations) when He punished Israel for their idolatries by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar… “Lo, I have begun to bring a punishment on the city which is called by My name, and shall you (other nations) be utterly unpunished? You shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, says the Lord of Armies. Therefore, prophecy against (the nations) all these words, and say to them…
“The LORD shall roar from on high and utter His voice from His holy habitation (Heaven); He shall mightily roar upon His habitation (Jerusalem); He shall give a shout, as those who tread grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth. A roar shall come to the ends of the earth; for the LORD has a controversy with the nations, He will plead with all flesh; He will give those who are wicked to the sword… and the slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; but they shall be dung upon the ground” (Jeremiah 25:29-33).
Who is on the Lord’s side?
