He Alone Is Worthy

Power, wisdom, and beauty change people. They can create such a pride as to become monstrous and evil. All we have to do is look at Satan… “You seal up the sum (of perfection), full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. You have been in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, the sardius, topaz, diamond, beryl, onyx, jasper, sapphire, emerald, carbuncle, and gold. The workmanship of the tabrets of your pipes (he’s musical) was prepared in you the day you were created. You are the anointed cherub who covers (the mercy seat); and I have set you so… You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found in you.” – (Ezekiel 28:12-15).

God did not make Satan evil. He was created in perfection and given the most privileged angelic position, BUT angels were also made with hearts and choices. He became violent, a trafficker in evil, a liar, murderer, and deceiver. … “your heart was lifted up because of your beauty, you have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your brightness: I will cast you to the ground, I will lay you before kings” – (Ezekiel 28:17).

Satan is a created being. Jesus is not. Jesus is our eternal Creator. Yet He came to us, born in a lowly manger, lived as a carpenter, and died on a cross, to be our Savior. He came to this world, “meek and lowly” to save us from our sins, making us a holy people, zealous of good works like Him, transformed into His image, to reign with Him forever… “He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts the beggar from the refuse heap, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory” – (1 Samuel 2:8). Now you see why Satan hates Believers so intensely.

The life of every Believer is a rebuke to Satan. He fears the one who walks with Jesus, for Jesus promises to bruise him under our feet. Never doubt that your life in Christ is making a difference in this world. The battle we’re in is spiritual, we’re equipped, and Jesus wins. The “prince of the power of the air” will fall, and the “Prince of Peace” shall reign in power, wisdom, and beauty. Hallelujah, He is alone is worthy.

“Fight the good fight of faith.” Time is short.
