“Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth and it endures.” (Psalm 119:90)
The same loving Father that guided the Children of Israel out of slavery in Egypt to the promised land, is guiding His children now. His promise to each generation is as sure as gravity. But His faithfulness is more thorough than just making sure our physical needs are met of food, water, and a place to rest our heads; He is faithful to restore our weary souls, and to lead us in paths that build our faith and grow our maturity. “He restores my soul, He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.” (Psalm 23:3)
What would it matter if our physical needs were met, but our joy and strength were gone? Or our physical needs were satisfied but our faith was shipwrecked? Likewise, He is faithful to give us clear vision, to be able to discern the season we are in and proceed in wisdom. His faithfulness is all encompassing.
Friends, God will be faithful to help us raise our families for His glory. Though the world may boast that they will own the next generation, we are not alone. God is faithful to come alongside us and help us! “He will guard us and keep us in ALL our ways” as we travel Homeward. May we always keep Him out in front, always in a place of the highest priority and our greatest love. He is a faithful, faithful Father.
