In this late hour of history, we have a great divide, a chasm that is getting wider by the day, between the vision God sets forth for us to look to for our future, and the globalists vision of what they think the world should be. These two views are entirely incompatible resulting in division, but Jesus told us that His coming to earth, and dying for our sins would cause a great divide - Truth always does.
It’s no secret that the globalists want a world ruled by unelected elites. They will control your every move, every purchase, and how far you can travel. Like a product on a shelf, you will be “marked” and tracked. Your life is not your own but the one world government’s. Any personal freedoms are a thing of the past. This is their vision for the new world order. Those that don’t comply will be beheaded. (Revelation 20:4)
“Without a vision the people perish” (Proverbs 29:18). God knew we needed sight for our future, and He gave us instructions (both personal and congregational), to walk in a way that honors Him. But He went further, providing us glimpses into the future, with 1,239 prophecies in the Old Testament, and 578 prophecies in the New Testament. We know that before us lies difficult last days… “In the end, perilous times will come…” He warned us that there would be wars and threatenings of wars, and there is; and that people’s hearts would grow cold, and they’d be lovers of self rather than lovers of God. It’s all happening all around us just as He said.
But in His kindness, He showed us glimpses of Heaven, where the streets are made of gold, and the fruit trees bear 12 different kinds of fruits, and before the throne of God is the Crystal Sea. The air there is filled with worship and praise, love and joy; there is no more tears or crying, grief or sorrow, pain or death, for the former things are passed away. He invites us into this Heavenly Home with this loving statement - “Enter into the joy of the Lord.” What a vision of our future!
May we stay focused on the vision God has set before us. The global government of the antichrist is rising, but we aren’t of that kingdom, our kingdom is with our Lord and Savior, safe in His almighty Hands. When the storms are raging here, remember, we look to Jesus, and only Jesus. “He is the way, the truth, the life.”
“Be thou my vision, Oh Lord of my heart!”
